[from ZDNet by Ryan Naraine]Malicious hackers are preying on iPhone users who want to jail-break their devices, exploiting the increased interest around jail-breaking tools to launch malware attacks.

According to Kaspersky Lab’s Costin Raiu (see disclosure), a rumored jail-breaking utility for iPhone 4 comes with a nasty surprise:

Cybercriminals have certainly been riding the buzz around the supposed jailbreaking tool. It’s presumed to be called “Greenpois0n” and it’s expected to be released any day now. Not surprisingly, we’ve seen a number of fake “Greenpois0n” Trojans.

Samsung will launch their 1GHz Galaxy S Android smartphone set for global soon. It looks as though it will have a tablet companion in the form of the Galaxy Tab.

Although Samsung has not yet issued any formal press release about the groundbreaking new Galaxy tablet device, it has confirmed its existence on the Samsung South Africa Twitter account.

“Android-powered Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab (tablet). More pics to follow,” says the tweet, but the accompanying image has since been removed.

A further update alerting a follower that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launched in South Africa also attached the same image, which was removed, as well. » Read more..

After surprising the world with their 1st Android phone, Apanda continues on the path Android model since A70 has appeared on the web. This company of Shenzhen based in China was produced the Apanda A70 with some impressive specs: 1GHz processor; 1GB RAM; 1GB ROM; 4.3-inch show (480×850).

Most reviewers told that Apanda A70 is supposedly being built with Android 3.0 in mind – hardly surprising considering the times. Besides that, not a whole lot is known including launch time nor pricing.

The boss battles could take some time to figure out depending on whether or not you are familiar with each character’s abilities and how best to utilize them. Work out a few new tactics and it will be smooth sailing. Just give it a couple…or three… tries and you will do just fine!

The deck command is similar to the other games. You can still equip and un-equip abilities and add or remove potions without missing a beat. The “shock-lock commands” allow you to deal with the many heartless who all want to gang up on you in battle. Just hold down the left & righft shoulder buttons at the same time and you can lock on to multiple enemies, but be careful, you will need to have a partially filled focus gauge to use the ability. On the whole, the controls are intuitive and certainly do not disappoint!

What is new in this series is the Dimension Links or “D-Links” feature that allows you to channel in on the other characters “mojo,” in case you run low on power. But your D-link gauge must be fully powered up to use this ability. The end commands are also nice to do! Each end is unique to each character and incredible to watch! There are many new aspects to the game as well and they tend to make for excellent additions.

There are three areas of unlockables (movies, Xehanort archives, and bosses) so it’s excellent to fully explore each world and attempt to locate every chest for hidden items. Even though you play through three different storylines, one tale does not trample upon the other and there is small backtracking. Get ready for an explosive, action-packed addition to the Kingdom Hearts series by Square Enix games. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. A long-awaited prequel to the Kingdom Hearts series, certainly gives you a bit more insight into the other two tales, but does not fail to impress with new, additional storylines that will keep fans engaged for some time. The game contains three different characters and three different storylines that push the capabilities of the PSP all in a brilliantly woven package. Phenomenal graphics and smooth gameplay — even the side quests are worth spending a small extra time to complete. I expected to be disappointed having to play the game on the PSP and its smaller screen, but overall it’s impressive.
